The pathway to university and college volleyball
Canadian athletes can play at U SPORTS universities, CCAA colleges, or NCAA and other schools in the United States. Coaches recruit students first: grades matter as much as kills.
| Grade | What to do |
|---|---|
| Grade 9–10 | Play club, keep grades strong, try every position you can. Start a simple athletic résumé. |
| Grade 10–11 | Make a short highlight video, attend showcases and ID camps, research schools that fit academically and athletically. |
| Grade 11–12 | Email coaches with your video and schedule, visit campuses, and check eligibility rules (NCAA Eligibility Center for US schools). |
